- Like other districts nearby, a portable shine was used for the festivals at Tsushima-jinja Shrine until 1935. Four festival floats were purchased that year from Kuwana, and the Ishidori Festival started then. The floats were originally used in the Edo period at Ishidori Festival in Kuwana to dedicate riverbed stones.
