- The float parade (Yoi Festival) is performed in early August every year as the Gion Festival of Shinmei Ikuta-jinja Shrine in Shimo-Honmachi, Shinmei Daiichi-sha Shrine in Naka-Honmachi, and the Tenno Festival of Niimizo-jinja Shrine in Honmachi. Three mystical floats decorated with beautiful lanterns parade along the Iwakura-kaido Road. The three floats also assemble at the "Kusunoki no Ie", where Karakuri puppet shows are held.
