【A parade of floats from the three districts, and the dedication of a children's Sanbaso dance on the special stage 】
This festival is held on the 2nd Sunday of October every year, crowned with the parade of floats representing Yokonemachi's three districts (Minami, Nakamura, and Ishimaru), and a Sanbaso dance performed in dedication on a special stage set up in front of the floats lined up in the shrine grounds. The children's Sanbaso dance is a local festive dance originating from Noh. It is a traditional event that has been passed down for generations in the three districts: Ishimaru-gumi, Naka-gumi and Minami-gumi. The performance ceased for a long time after the war; however, it has been revived as an annual event performed almost every year, after being designated as a piece of intangible cultural property.
