Handa-City
Handa City Museum
- Exhibitions of the community's abundant treasure materials in a relaxing place
- The Handa City Museum was opened as a complex facility annexed to the library in October 1984, in part of the Handa Community Cultural Square.
In April 1986, it was approved as one of the registered museums. There are permanent exhibitions on the Chita Peninsula's nature and history, and the festivals and vinegar brewing of Handa. Special exhibitions are also held several times a year, which feature the culture of the local community.
In particular, the exhibitions of the city's actual existing 31 floats (rotated in order every 4 months) are spectacular!
You can also experience manipulating the Karakuri puppets.
